Short Synopsis: Homunculus is a horror screenplay set in Northern Lower Michigan. Our hero is a young man named Jale who is mentored by a Native American elder in Indian spiritual ways. A doctor creates a monster called a Homunculus which terrorizes a small town. Drug dealers in a back woods shack are disturbed by hunters in search of cougars who are blamed for the murders. Jale falls in love with Mig who is raped by classmates. The Homunculus causes havoc in the community as people show their true colors and show us that the real monsters are the human beings. Jale triumphs over his own inner turmoil and the outer threats of men and monsters to choose a path of good over a path of evil.
