Director Statement
This short film was originally conceived as the book end to an anthology of similarly themed short films that would be feature length upon completion. We felt that "After the Party" was self contained enough as is to stand on it's own as a short film. We hope you think so too


Charles Quinn Frutos: Co-Writer, Director, Producer
Charles Quinn Frutos is a writer/director originally from San Jose, California, where he collaborated with Indie filmmakers, learning the ins and outs of production. He moved to Portland, Oregon with the intention of going to the NW Film Center. Instead he ended up at Portland State University where he studied Television writing under Thom Bray and Screenwriting under Charles Deemer. This is also where he met Ryan Gard. He has written, directed the short films: Smile., Night Moves, Loved By You, All Roads Lead Home. He also directed Walking At Night and After the Party. He has also written and directed his first music video for the metal band Titarius. Ryan Gard attended Portland State University where he met Writer/Director Charles Quinn Frutos. He has executive produced several short films including Smile., Night Moves, Walking at Night, Loved By You, All Roads Lead Home and produced and co-wrote After the Party. He also executive produced his first music video for the metal band Titarius. He is currently in executive producing the latest short film written and directed by Charles Quinn Frutos.
