Detailed Synopsis: An informative 12 minute film by artist Mary Ann Leitch compiled in celebration of her 3 decade journey as an artist. Using artworks and personal photos spanning 1975-2005, she focuses on her journey with images and words, sharing personal passion and unique filmmaking. The vital years of a contemporary living artist chronicled. I have included a variety of my art - the emerging sensual large canvases, the nu-age abstract opulent journeys and my resolution to abstract-realism. I am using varied themes in the resolution series; included are works from the 'eco-animal awareness' group, 'horse and rider', 'leaf' and 'beaches' series. This short stands by itself but, I do intend to film 2 or 3 other artists that mix genres, abstract-realism, to document the group for today and tomorrow; as well as, to bring insight to living artists. The full length feature would be very marketable and hope to hear from interested parties.

Director Statement
In celebration of my 3 decades as a fine art painter, I have compiled a 12 minute film to give insight to an American female artists's journey to date. Emerging as a realist in 1975, I traveled thru abstraction and resolved to abstract-realism using color fields and a touch of realism with various themes.

I plan to compile and film other artists that mix genres as I do. It requires a mutability that not all artists possess and needs to be documented and exposed. In my naivete as a filmmaker, I choose a "Zeitgeist" approach and plan to continue this production in that spirit.
